This began as a self-portrait, but not of my face as I know it on the outside. It became of the self that is harder to name. The deeper one, beyond identity, that calls forward from realm of simply being.
A self-portrait for all of us, a prayer that we may see ourselves in nature when we look closely and honour the living world we came from.
